Mahabis Slippers

Mahabis Slippers

Not many think of slippers as a fashion accessory. They are the comfy shoes I wear when I get in from university, or anytime I get back inside the house for that matter. Mahabis are trying to change this and I was intrigued as to how a slipper could be fashionable.

Mahabis is trying to reinvent the slippers conventional use. Designed in London and made in Europe the concept of Mahabis is the invention of a detachable sole that can be attached effortlessly when heading outdoors.

The design of Mahabis is clean and minimal, something that instantly appeals to me. The box itself comes with a plain-sleeved logo. I’ve never been one for patterned or funny slippers so these are the ideal slippers for me. They can come in a range of colours means you can customize your own slippers to your liking.

So the slippers comes with both the indoor and outdoor sole. The indoor sole is light and although the shoe is quite small, they are rather comfortable - a lot better then I was expecting. The sole aims to simply

flick-on and clip-down easily meaning you change between the two pretty quickly, but the times I have swapped the soles over, it can be a little fiddly, but not an inconvenience by any means.

Small and somewhat thin fitting, they are also really warm as they are made of 100% sheep wool, meaning I can get rid of my current slippers that have lost all their shape.

These are a massive improvement on my current high-street slippers and they have come up with a slipper that is warm, comfy and dual-purpose for those that find themselves often in and out the house.
